TESTIMONIALS
Dear Nicola,
Back in March / April 2016, I sought treatment from you for pain in my lower back & glute region. Before I go on, I want to let you know that this is a letter of sincere thanks for the reasons I am about to explain.
After 6 weeks of treatment you said that I am not getting any better and recommended that I went back to my GP for further tests and wrote a letter to my GP outlining this.
As a direct result of your letter, I was sent for x-rays which showed up nothing unusual, followed by an MRI in the lower back area. This showed up a mass, which, after a full body MRI, CT scan and biopsy, shows a Myxopapillary Endymoma, a slow growing benign tumour of the spinal cord. Since it was never investigated sincerely over the last 11 years, the tumour has grown significantly in size, and if left could cause irreversible nerve and bowel damage. Luckily I will now be having a major operation in the near future to remove it.
I want to thank you more than I could possibly express, for the simple fact that you realised that there was something else going on, that no other GP or health professional that I had seen over the last 11 years, had. If it were not for you, my GPs would most likely continue to dismiss my case as 'non-specific mechanical back pain' and I would still be desperately trying to seek some resolution.
Please accept the small token of the Love2shop card I have enclosed, which is really an inadequate representation of my gratitude, but my gratitude and thanks you will always have.
Thank you again and I wish you all the best,
