David graduated from Brunel University with a B.Sc. (Hons) in physiotherapy. He was also awarded the prestigious ‘Paul Standing Memorial Award’ for best Student in Clinical Placements.
He gained experience as a senior physiotherapist whilst working in the NHS in areas of Orthopaedics, Neurology, Respiratory, general medicine & surgery. His last post was in out-patients and through his time in the NHS he established a Physiotherapy clinic in the private sector.
He is now the proprietor of an extremely busy clinic and is still looking for ways to improve his practice.
His latest venture is a diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine leading to a Diploma in Injection therapy.

David graduated from University College London and the London Foot Hospital.
Armed with a degree in Podiatric Medicine he took a post within the NHS working in a variety of acute and community settings, treating a diverse group of patients. Although all foot conditions are treated in the clinic David has a special interest in sports medicine, Biomechanics and Orthotic prescription including minor surgical procedures to cure in growing toenails.
He has an integral role in the running of an NHS podiatric surgery service with ambitions to becoming a Podiatric Surgeon.

Amanda passed her Sports Massage Diploma at the London School of Sports Massage in 1998. Amanda is also a member of the Sports Massage Association (the governing body for sports massage practitioners). She also practices Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Massage and Indian Head Massage.
She began working at Oakfield after she qualified and was also contracted to UK Athletics to work with the GB Track & Field team which took Amanda to major events and training camps around the world for seven years.
In 2004 Amanda had a break from the clinic to pursue her passion of football after being asked to join Tottenham Hotspur Football Club where she worked as Head of Massage Therapy working, and travelling with the 1st team. She is now back working with us part time, using the rest of her time to undertake study for a Human Nutrition and Dietetics degree.

Lorna is a qualified sports & remedial massage practitioner having studied at the London School of Sports Massage.
She has been working at the Oakfield Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic since October 2004 and is a full member of the Sports Massage Association. She is also registered with U.K. Athletics.
Her clients range from those enjoying the benefits of deep tissue massage, people with everyday aches and pains, postural problems and those partaking in recreational sports and athletics.
Working alongside colleagues at the clinic she hopes to broaden her knowledge. She is a regular participant in clinical case conferences adding her skills for the benefit of difficult cases.
Her next ambition is to further her career by being involved in the 2012 Olympics.

Emma’s interest in physiotherapy came whilst studying for a sports science degree at the University of Greenwich. This involved physiology, biomechanics and sports injuries.
She went on to gain a degree in physiotherapy and has gained experience in all areas of medicine whilst working in the N.H.S.
Emma now specialises in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy and is Oakfield Clinics hand specialist, qualifying to B.A.H.T. level 1. She is also qualified to practise acupunture for musculoskeletal injuries.
Her future plans are to broaden her knowledge to assist in the field of musculo-skeletal therapies as well as developing her current knowledge as a golf injury specific practioner (The Golf Athlete Level 1).
